The file only has one *after *read trigger assigned to it, so multiple triggers aren't responsible. I like the idea of the 10 line pgm - good idea as that is something I can use (and abuse) whereby I can control all the events to be tested. I also like the idea of testing with query. As for DBU - I was thinking along the same lines - that it does multiple reads to accomodate it's utilitarian functions. So that's probably not a valid app to test with.
