Unfortunatly the 400 (at least mine) does not show up. Not sure why, It does show up if i use window's NBTSTAT -A 1.2.3.4. Maybe a trace would show why. I probably will not be doing that anytime soon. I actually found this a fun little expirement. I think it is cool that we can take non-as/400 sources and compile with out much trouble. ---------------------------- Bryan Dietz Aktion Associates ====================================== Something approximating nbtscan would help in exploring what's on the network. Does it identify how the AS/400 is configured? Normally, if I want to 'discover' stuff about the network, I start with [net view /domain] and go from there. I haven't used nbtscan. Tom
