How does it connect just because you reboot the wintel server? Trap the
error in the ODBC connection. When that error occurs, perform the steps
that happen on the reboot.

Subject
Auto re-connect ODBC connection to iSeries

How do I get the ODBC connection from our DOMINO wintel server to our
iSeries to re-connect automatically after I IPL or do an entire system
save?
Currently, we end up restarting the DOMINO server. We are using the
iSeries
Access ODBC driver for the connection.

Thanks in advance.
