What version are they running on their old box?

I have it on my project list to install the Virtualization Engine also.
Guess I better figure out what that is.

As far as the rest of it...
Take a trip to http://youriseries:2001 Sign on as someone with QSECOFR
authority. Might be surprised by what they have running.

Subject
What are these License Programs?

Customer is installing a new v5r3 box. My part of the process is to port
all existing software, user ids, etc, and to set up a nightly "copy the
changed data from the new box to the old" process.

They've noticed these LPPs, and are asking me what they are. I found
some of them by googling for them at site:ibm.com, but I didn't learn
anything that way. Can anyone here clue me in as to what these are, do
they run on the PC or the 400? Are they additional charge?

So far as I know, they do no in-house programming (neither green-screen
nor GUI), they do have a web site running on their 400 (I don't know
whether it accesses 400's DBs or not), and they run their email server
on their 400.

5722-WE1 : IBM Web Enablement

5733-NKY : Deactivate Software Key

5733-PE1 : Websphere Portal Express Plus

5733-VE1 : Virtualization Engine

Thanks

Tom
