iSeries as a blade, interesting idea, I'd love to see it. However, that's not quite what I mean. I'm familiar with the iSeries (er, i5) but viewing the commercial from the un-informed point of view here's what I got: The guys sitting around the table were able to consolidate their machines (read: PCs) into a single server, cool! However, how is that any different from the IBM BladeCenter (http://www-1.ibm.com/servers/eserver/bladecenter/) or the Dell 1855 (http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/pedge_1855 ?c=us&cs=555&l=en&s=biz)? -Walden PS. Don't tell _me_ how it different, how does the person that doesn't know about the i5 know it's different? PPS. Actually, do tell me how it's different, I don't get it either. Not why you should use the i5 for RPG or why OS/400 (er, i5/OS) is cool, but why would I consolidate PCs into an i5 chassis instead of a blade chassis. ------------ Walden H Leverich III President & CEO Tech Software (516) 627-3800 x11 WaldenL@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://www.TechSoftInc.com Quiquid latine dictum sit altum viditur.
