No, I meant restore it on the OLD system to a different library.  That way 

you can see if it is a os issue, or a restore order issue.

Well that's what we did Saturday morning, restored the whole library from 
the old system to the new one.
WHen they access the old system and try the application it retrieves the 
records in the sequence they expect, on the new system it basically gets 
the records in reverse chronological order (like I said, they really 
should have that defined as part of the key).

Do they still have the old library on the old system?  If so, if you do a 
RSTLIB to a new library name, does the logical work?
