Searching the part number in Google seems to indicate that this is the part
number for the pSeries. I'm not sure if there's any functional difference
in these parts, but you should be cautious...

Subject: Help correlate FRU to CCIN or feature code

All,

Check out my newly received refurbished DVD-RAM drive, supposedly for my 810
...

It is supposed to be a feature code 4530, which appears to correspond to a
CCIN of 6330.

However, neither of these numbers appear on the drive. Instead there is a
FRU PN of 04N5967.

How can I cross reference the FRU # back to the CCIN or feature code.

Note, I did find the following links:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/info/rzar5/rzar5ptmpnl.htm

and

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v5r3/ic2924/info/rzar5/rzar
5ptmpnl.htm

Both of which show the following:
Type Description Model Part number
 6330 DVD-RAM 1. 270, 800, 810, 820 1. 04N2569

Googling on the net, seems 04N5967 might be for a pSeries instead of an
iSeries.

Can anyone help me confirm that I have the right drive or not?

Thanks,
