In 1979, I had just moved to SFO to go to work for a company whose founder 
was an electrical engineer (you all might recognize the double D logo on 
your tape decks, movie trailers, etc.). We were at the IBM data center 
getting a demo of the S/34 when Mr. D asked the salesman about the effects 
of a power failure on the computer. The rep said that it would not be a 
problem. Mr. D said OK, and pulled the plug from the wall. You should have 
seen the look on the rep's face! The SE (remember them?) fired up the 
machine and restarted the MAPICS demo with the AXZPX0 command, and bailed 
out the sales rep. Mr. D took out his checkbook and paid for the system on 
the spot.

I didn't do it on a S/38, but I did it once on a S/34 on the switch on
the side, while at a customer site no less.  :(
