have you checked the ipconfig of the pc's against those that work?
are they in the same ip range, is it set up on the as400?
if you switch the pc's around to positions that work do the xp boxes still
not work? and do the faulty ones work?

Can anyone point me in the right direction to trouble shoot my problem?
I am trying to connect to an AS/400 running V5R1M0 with Client Access
Express v5.0 for Windows 95, 98, NT and 2000.
I am using a VPN connection to the local network which is working fine, but
on 2 computers running Windows XP (Home and Pro) my connection to the AS/400
times out. I can connect from other machines from the same remote locations
running Windows XP or ME.

As far as I know the installations of Client Access are the same. Are there
different settings on the XP machines that would effect the connection?

Any help would be appreciated.

TIA,
Bob Kohlndorfer
