Hey, if you can afford it, and it's not a big downer on your shop, then go 
for it.  Just don't let people think that the iSeries requires that kind 
of maintenance.

Our system admin is having us do this weekly. That way, if he needs to
apply a PTF, he knows will be applied on a certain day. We also are
not a 24/7 shop so we don't have that problem.
