Rob,

If you mean did using CPYTOSTMF remove the blanks, the answer is no.  I
probably shouldn't have posted what I did to solve the problem I was having
at the time, which dealt more with CR/LF issues.  I just wanted to drop that
tidbit the IBM Support rep told me about how CPYTOIMPF works.  As far as
CCSIDs on V5R3 goes, I did not broach that subject with IBM (we're still at
R2).  Sorry if I've been misleading.
