You will need to mount iridiumusr.udfs to see what's inside it:

MOUNT TYPE(*UDFS) MFS('/DEV/QASP03/IRIDIUMUSR.UDFS') MNTOVRDIR('/YourDir')

Then use WRKLNK OBJ('/YourDir') to view.

If iridiumusr.udfs is already mounted it would be normal to see a CPFA09E
"Object in use" message (followed by the CPF3823
"No objects saved or restored" message) in your backup. If you are not sure if
this UDFS is getting mounted search your history log for message CPCA1B0.

subject: Help with displaying objects in 'dev/QASP01/iridiumusr.udfs'

We have started running the following command:
 SAV DEV('/QSYS.LIB/TAP01.DEVD') +
              OBJ(('dev/QASP01/iridiumusr.udfs')) +
              ENDOPT(*LEAVE)

We get a message that no objects were saved or restored. I have tried the
commands that I know to look and see if there are any objects.
How can I look at this and see if it is really empty?
Any help would be appreciated,
William Moore
