The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

hi Fran,
Enter an FTP subcommand.
CD /TRSFDD
250-NAMEFMT set to 1.
250 "/TRSFDD" is current directory.
The reason it's changing to name format 1 is because you've put a slash in
front of the directory name.
In other words, it thinks that "/TRSFDD" is a place in the IFS, but if you
had said "CD TRSFDD" it would think that it was a library.
The reason you can't switch back to namefmt 0 is because "/TRSFDD" is a
directory in the root filesystem of the IFS, it is NOT a library. In
order to switch back, you'd have to do
CD /QSYS.LIB/TRSFDD.LIB
Then, it should be possible to change the namefmt back to 0.
(Though, if you omitted the / from the TRSFDD in the first place, you
wouldn't have switched to namefmt 1, thus eliminating the need to switch
back...)
