Windows, like VHS, is inferior, but both less expensive and "good enough". I was a beta user back then. The quality of my tapes was much better than the VHS of the time. But VHS won due to it being "good enough" and less expensive. Exactly like Wintel vs iSeries (or zSeries or pSeries). We are looking at a zSeries to Wintel.
