He noticed that the system value QABNORMSW was set to 1(abnormal) indicating that the last IPL was abnormal and told them that they might start thinking of a time that when they could do a normal IPL.. He got this back from them: I have scheduled an ipl of the system for Sunday PM Nov 21 at 23:55 pm (SbmIplGrp2). I am using a special program I wrote that ipl's the system without turning off all the disks arrays due to the worry of having additional sticky fans in the third tower. I missed scheduling the job in Oct. Thanks. And was asking me what kind of program they could have written that did this. The only thing I could think of is they are doing a Powerdown with Restart(*YES) and everything "under the covers" stays active ? Oh, and there is no maintenance on this machine to get the fans replaced. Unreal. Thanks !
