It is true that theirs is the only integrated AV out there. But if you just need to scan, then use ClamAV http://www.clamav.net/ It runs in the PASE environment. Get the AIX version here. http://aixpdslib.seas.ucla.edu/packages/clamav.html It is fun setting up the config file. but it works just fine. It even updates via the internet.
