Delete the spool files instead. Make the users responsible for their own
housekeeping. I've got a spool file purge routine that I install at all my
client sites. Al Barsa has something similar in TAATOOL

Subject: Deleting PF's in QSPL
I have heard that there are those who delete these members and I was told
that it could cause damage. What specifically are those members and what
will happen if someone deleted them?
We have the names of the files as: Q01234N004 *FILE PF-DTA Spool
