We have a temp firm that wants to access some functions that are both green screen and screen scraped. We did not want to load a 5250 client on each of the several people at the temp firm doing this. Therefore we set up some sort of portal that automatically fires up vpn access to this screen scraped Seagull Jwalk application. HATS may be added. We are an ERP software company and our programmers would like to get to the "command-line" / "green screen" via this portal (might be websphere's portal). 1st question - Are there other solutions other than IBM's to setup HTTP access? Or is IBM the recommended solution? 2nd What measures should be done to make it secure? Maybe a "howto" on securing this type of access? Thanks, Doug "In a democracy, dissent is an act of faith." J.
