Re: PING and FTP question

Robert,

If you cannot ping the host, but you can FTP to the host, then what you 
are most likely seeing is a server behind a firewall, where they are 
denying PING traffic.  Many sites do this quite routinely as there are a 
few ping based exploits to avoid.
