Has anyone ever copied an ISeries flat file to 3490E tape, and then used the
tape as input to a mainframe? All IBM hardware. I'm really curious as to
whether a mainframe could read a tape produced by an ISeries. Both are
EBCDIC, of course, but am wondering about stuff like tape headers, etc.
SNDNETF or FTP might be easier though.
