"If" you have the room, restore the single library to a testlib
and delete the file in question. Save the testlib back to the same
tape. The library name might be an issue, so name the testlib a
VERY similar name to keep things straight for any possible restores.

You need to make a note on the tape label that indicates what
you have done.

for example: Prodlib is the working library
             Prodlib2 is the testlib to fix the problem.


You could also do a very clumsy tape to tape copy and omit the library in question if you have multi tape drives.

I'm not familar with the Tool you referred to.
