In the Bible, 666 is the sign of the devil. It was actually a
coded way to refer to Caesar. Back in Roman times, it was
common to use numeric values rather than acronyms. 
Caesar, Julius (Caius Julius Caesar), 100? B.C.-44 B.C.
in Roman script is 6 letters in each name meaning 666.
