I'm considering using a break message handling program, which can be set up via the CHGMSGQ command, and then have a scheduled job send a message to the workstations at the proper times. First off, are there any other better methods for such a task? The more difficult problem with this method is that the CHGMSGQ command needs to be run every time a user logs into the workstation. At this site, the initial program is sacred for political reasons and must not be modified. How might I have a new job run a command without changing the initial program?
