<P> Keith,</P><P> You may be correct in that he could try another CD or copy of, but the main problem I see is that he can't get the panel to change. This sounds to me like the service processor or an IOP (likely the MFIOP) has gotten creamed. It's possible that the I/O error isn't even real because of a preceeding error.</P><P> Seems like I recall a thread some time back where someone had a corrupted MFIOP that required IBM to replace it.
