However, I did come across a reference in the V5R3 LPAR guide concerning QPWRRSTIPL. This system value, like QRMTIPL, is ignored in all OS/400 partitions running on an i5. Instead, it can must be set for the server a whole using the service processor's Advanced System Management (ASM) interface. Now all I need to do is figure out what the ASM is.
