Creating a Remote Configuration List

I am trying to create a Remote Configuration List.
I found this on ibm's website -
CRTCFGL TYPE(*APPNRMT) TEXT('remote configuration list')
APPNRMTE((RMTLOCNAME RMTNETID LOCLOCNAME RMTCPNAME CPNETID LOCPASWRD
SECURLOC))
Yet, when I run this it comes back with an error - 
Value 'RMTLOCNAME' for APPNRMTE exceeds 8 characters.

Do I just cut down - 'RMTLOCNAME' to 'RMTLOCNM'?  Then I'll need to do it to
the rest.
Kinda strange when I found it on IBM's website.
Any help or direction greatly appreciated.
