HI I have read the archives. About sending an AS/400 file to a Excel file. The
method I want to use is to have a CL that will create the file then make a
directory on the IFS and then put the file there. The command for this is Then
to map the user to this drive. I was told to map using the IP address of the
AS/400/the folder name. This is not working yet. Assuming this will I then have
to create a Macro in Excel that will take the file and format it for Excel,
possibly doing some summaries.

Is this a good plan? Are there better ways to do this?

I have tried doing the ISeries transfer but this is not working for some
reason, we are not sure if it is the Excel or Windows setup.

Thanks,

Mike
