Dan, Check out this link about IxS sharing devices. http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/info/rzahq/rzahqrzahqdevpo .htm Basically, the IxS can use the iSeries Tape drive as if it was locally attached. You'd want to run the Backup Exec on the IxS and you could backup other Windows servers over the network just like you would if Backup Exec was running on a stand alone server.
