If you are running (or about to implement) PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne, you do
not have much choice in the matter any more. They are moving to a web based
UI based on WebSphere Application Server.........Good news here is that
WebSphere will run on the IXA server that can be attached to the i5/iSeries.

Definition of WebSphere: WebSphere Application Server is IBM's
implementation of J2EE/J2SE in the eServer space. Or at least that is the
way it was defined to me...

I don't know about you, but I'm not sure I would
have a good "definition" of what Websphere really
is.

How are you trying to sell this product with
many names ???

What did you tell them it does ???

What would they do with it if they had it ???

Do they want/need to be on the web ???

We are wholesale manufacturers.

I am trying to make the case for going to Websphere, but am
encountering objections, such as that there is no need at the moment.
