Why implement Websphere? -- MIDRANGE-L

We are a shop supporting popular customized osoftware packages written in 
RPG400, that are not vendor supported. We are wholesale manufacturers. I am 
trying to make the case for going to Websphere, but am encountering objections, 
such as that there is no need at the moment.
