Jerry, It has nothing to do with how you are signed on to OS/400 or iSeries in terms of SST privileges; it is what you are set up for based on the SST user id logging into DST/SST. You have to set the privileges allowed for each SST login. If you do not have authority in SST as QSECOFR, does someone in your shop know what SST user id is setup for full SST privileges? If not, check out the InfoCenter under Security-->Service Tools. You may ultimately need the help of your CE to break this gridlock...... <hth> Regards, Mike Shaw -----Original Message----- From: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jerry Sent: Tuesday, July 20, 2004 2:23 PM To: Midrange Systems Technical Discussion Subject: STRSST option 7-8 - need security Signed on as qsecofr when trying option 7 or 8 in STRSST gets me this message: Message ID . . . . . . : CPFB304 Severity . . . . . . . : 30 Message type . . . . . : Escape Date sent . . . . . . : 07/20/04 Time sent . . . . . . : 14:19:18 Message . . . . : User does not have required special authorities.
