On Gets, the default behavior is to append data, with (REPL being the
option
that changes this behavior.

Another related question came up a few minutes ago:

I have a script that is reaching out to a pSeries machine and retrieving
information. I use the GET command, along with the (REPLACE parameter.
This script repeats itself every 10 minutes.

The software vendor, not being sure that the previously retrieved data has

been completely processed, has recommended that the script be changed to
append the incoming data to the file rather than replacing the entire
file.

Anybody got any suggestions? How does one do an append?
