My aim (pun not intended) has been to create a client using _only_ facilities of base OS/400 plus whatever IBM allows for free. Hence, no HLL programming involved -- only ILE CL and Rexx. And since the password piece was the only hard part, I've kind of lost interest in using my spare time for it right now... heh.
