The fact that the text after the 500 begins in lowercase suggests that it is NOT from the 400 - that would not be typical, in my experience. Nonetheless, you could see whether the "quote rcmd" gets tot he 400 by using a comm trace. This would at least verify the arrival of the statement, and whether the error message is sent by the 400.

No, actually, I specifically put that command in. We had a situation where a customer had their default name format set to 1 ... so we explicitly set it to 0.
