Jim, "... from Ikon thinks it also runs on an iSeries" that's encouraging, eh ? ;-) And trying to go to a website for PlanetPress4 gets you nothing... But if you do a Google search you find http://www.relyco.com and that is apparently a product from them. Searching their site for iSeries or AS400, AS/400 returns nothing. But it does the same thing for Windows... Wow, what a piece of you know what search engine - it doesn't even find their OWN products ! They do sell IBM MICR IPDS printers so they MIGHT be familiar with the platform ? This is being recommended, along with Canon ImageRunner 8500 and 3200 Color printers to a customer. The software runs on a network server (although salesperson from Ikon thinks it also runs on an iSeries). Has capability to take printer datastream (remote outq) and add considerable customization, and print in postscript to Canon or fax or email. This is a small shop, but very heaving print (b&w, color), fax, email requirements. Any comments appreciated. Jim Franz
