I know the general consensus is that you can use ODBC to connect an SQL
server to an iSeries DB2 database, but is there a better way?

I've done as follow

1) Create ODBC DSN (in my case is named FABIO_MOM1)
2) Follow the indications in the attached file

Slow, but it works .....
