It would be helpful to see your CL and what is in the 2 parms FROM the RPG
program.

Subject: CL Parm Problem

I have a RPG program that passes 2 parms to a CL. The first Parm is 60
chars and the second is 10 characters. Just to clarify, Not Numeric.

The Cl program submits another CL program, that calls a report program. My
problem is that when the parms are passed from the first CL to the second
CL, that first parm contains invalid data. However, if i call
the second CL instead of submitting, it works fine. For instance my
parms should look something like this

1st ' '
Didn't want to count out sixty spaces.
 2nd ' GO MENUA'

But what i end up with is

1st ' GO MENUA '
2nd 'GO MENUA'

i'm sure this is something obvious, and i've just been working on it too
much, but does any one have an idea what might be causing this?

Thanks

MIke
