Can't say whether it is or not, but 445 is one of the ports Sasser is known to attempt to use. oliver.wenzel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent by: midrange-l-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxx 05/04/2004 10:51 AM Please respond to Midrange Systems Technical Discussion <midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To midrange-l@xxxxxxxxxxxx cc Subject Sasser connects to AS/400 Hello, can anybody confirm or know if this is SASSER worm trying to connect to our AS/400? Under netstat, I have lots of connections from remote pc's (other WAN locations) connecting to local port 445 (cifs). When I look at the jobs, I only see SMBCONNMONITORTP, no actual job. Funny thing is, that this is our backup machine, this IP adress is not publicly known.
