I say, embrace this change! Run with this campaign. Use it to tell ALL your
non-i friends and brag about the incredible "new" platform that IBM is
releasing. It has all the advantages of the AS/400 and the iSeries, with the
amazing Power5.

We have the best platform... now, use this ~change~ to spread the word.

We only have to look at our own history for a successful example.

When IBM put the AS/400 to market, they did a good job of "covering up" the fact to the un-inititated that it had a "glorified" CPF operating system from the S/38. Good thing! The best thing they did in marketing. S/36 shops that had refused to go S/38 jumped into the AS/400. It was named and branded a whole new machine, and good thing.

Windows has done this thing where they market each new VnRn as if it were a totally new thing (besides breaking compatibility). A new name is not all bad, and lets these Microsoft kids know that for keeping ahead of things, it rocks!
