RE: Retrieve Remote Object Description

Is it possible to use NFS to mount the remote directory?  QNTC?  I suppose
it depends on how the machines are networked.....

Also a thought, Scott Klement wrote the FTPAPI project for use in HLL
applications.  Perhaps this could be useful....

Yes, I know it. I should say, that I want to retrieve the size in a
batch-program. Maybe by an API?
