Mike,

IBM had a compatibility page for various ASCII printer vendors... Here's
Paxar's:

http://www-912.ibm.com/s_dir/slkbase.nsf/0888cc5d18fceca58625680b005dc690/d6

IBM shows LPR as the only choice for this model printer...

I found a support document at Paxar's site
ftp://www.servisource1.com/user_documentation/9825/9850enoi-ad.pdf
that mentions the LPR Queue names: "Name of queue on remote printer
BINARY_P1 for binary
files or TEXT_P1 for text files"

Subject: Trouble connecting to a wireless Monarch Printer

HI Perhaps some one is familiar. We had Monarch install the 9825. I created
the outq, ping was OK. Put spooled file into the Outq, but it stays in *SND
status. The Monarch tech tried 2 different listening ports, 4000 and I think
9001. Not sure what is wrong.

Thanks for your help, Mike
