You've probably seen that they are not in QSYSINC/QRPGLESRC. But the C/C++ includes are in QSYSINC/H(QSYSETID). These are pretty simple APIs - the various IDs are passed in a unsigned integers (use BYVAL in RPGLE?) and these parameters come back set as needed. There's an integer return value that probably indicates success/failure.

You want to be sure to put apostrophes around the name in EXTPROC('qsysetuid'), e.g.

Look at the API finder (v5r2 InfoCenter) for more info. And just use the RPG equivalent of 4-byte unsigned integer (u 10?) for the parms. And use BYVAL (not by reference).
