Maybe I'll give this another try on the release after V5R2.  If I remember 
you had some horror stories getting this working.  And our networking guys 
have been quite busy lately.

Believe it or not, with the universal connection and known PTF number(s),

can download a few small PTFs via SNDPTFORD faster than Fix Central. 
That's
because SNDPTFORD tries the universal connection before dialing out over 
the
phone.
