Scott,

It seems tha OS/400 does not report CPFs with nothing in the message text, so 
if you can insert an OVRMSGF in your code, create a message file with the same 
CPF code and blanks in the message text. A more drastic solution would be 
deleting the text in the CPF code you want to avoid.

history log. It's an APPN job which has a 0 severity
and writes every 60 seconds or so.
