Here's an odd one. Sending mail with special characters in the subject or message and no attachment, things work great. But, send the same email with an attachment and the special characters show up wrong. For example, in the subect: Test å ä ö Å Ä Ö ... works fine with no attachment. But with an attachment it shows up as: Test e d v E D V ... The MIME file used shows the correct characters, and all of the IFS file specs for the created MIME file are the same between attachment and non-attachment emails. SNDDST doesn't seem to have this problem. I know that you have to encode the email addresses, but I wonder if you also have to do the same for the message and subject? This seems very odd.
