Murali, Based on the responses thus far, you can probably see that a "direct conversion" to Access is NOT possible. However, several good techniques have been recommended. I think there was an earlier article reference or post about using cpytoimpf then importing to Access. There are plenty of references to those techniques. Depending upon your Java skills, there was a relatively recent post about an Open Source project called OS400Bridge (you'll find it on sourceforge.net (very cool)). With bit of tweaking, you could modify the example to write directly to the Access database with no need for creating a file in the IFS, FTP'ing and then converting. All viable solutions providing you have the skills to apply them.
