color themes aren't a deal-breaker for me but I do like a different color
setting when I am working in production.  It definitely helps decrease the
Oops factor. 

Text copy & paste doesn't work well for documenting processes or
demonstrating issues.  Clarity is enhanced dramatically with screen shots. 
Thats just a fact of life.

Just seems like much ado about nothing imo. I work on a development box
and two production boxes and have a session open to each all the time I'm
in the office.
