For current hw I would suggest LAN-based Operations Console. That way you can use one pc for up to 26 systems/partitions (I might be wrong on that one). Lan attached op.cons requires a dedicated Ethernet adapter/LPAR but the alternative is having five different pc's/ twx terminals depending on connection type. Personally VGA/Keyboard/Rodent support-switches scares me because of their habit to go out of order when I'm running the system/partition in dedicated mode so I try to avoid them. I like op.cons most for the easy way of documenting things done at the console - cut and paste to wordpad or alike. Documentation always makes my customers happy.
