Hmmm... if you suspect that is the problem you should try the Hit Software ODBC driver and rule it out. You can download an evaluation (it really is an excellent driver in its own right...) at this url: http://www.hitsw.com/products_services/sql400/odbc400/odbc400.html We use both drivers and the Hit driver is flawless.
