No, you do not need to delete/recreate the DDM file.  However, if you have 
some RPG that is on systemB and it has not been recompiled, (either on 
systemA and moved over to systemB, or directly on systemB), since the PF 
on systemA was altered, you'll need to recompile that program.

Hi all,
 
if I have a PF on systemA with a DDM on systemB pointing at systemA and I
change a field type on systemA (from numeric to alpha), do I need to 
delete
and the recreate the DDM description on systemB to get the field type 
change
to come across?
 
Or...?
